Our Upcycled Art workshop is a creative, hands-on mobile art experience that encourages children to reimagine everyday materials and transform them into unique artworks. Designed for Vacation Care, schools, and community programs, this workshop brings sustainability and creativity together — no travel required. Children will work with a range of repurposed and recycled materials to design and create their own artworks. From collage and sculpture to functional or decorative pieces, participants are encouraged to think creatively about how materials can be reused in new and imaginative ways. The session highlights the value of sustainability while celebrating experimentation and individuality. This workshop supports: Environmental awareness and sustainability Creative problem-solving and innovation Resourcefulness and imaginative thinking Confidence through hands-on making Each child will create a finished artwork to take home, reinforcing the idea that creativity doesn’t require new materials — just fresh ideas. All materials are supplied, and the workshop is facilitated by a professional artist who guides participants through the process while allowing plenty of room for personal expression.
